This was a video audition for our team to be on horror week. The show sends you to somewhere haunted for a week.

We filmed this in one day, at the same high school that MTV's Teen Wolf shot their show. It was a very creepy high school. Windows were broken, the doors were all bolted, locked and barred up. The field we ran through was a baseball diamond that had not been kept up. We walked around doing introductions for the camera for about an hour. Then we all sat down and just talked for 12 minutes. After a day of just editing and trying to piece things together, we had the video portion ready. We then lost a member of the group and added Patrick last minute - that's why he got to do all his stuff separately. Another day of editing, and one day of FX and music, and our submission was ready to go!

We didn't get chosen. :(
This was inspired by a dream Elizabeth had one night.

A new medical drug is on the shelves. Ten pills come per bottle. A man has just lost his wife and daughter in a terrible accident and is trying his best to cope. He turns to this new drug to stop his pain.

If you watch closely, there are numbers hidden within the video counting down to the last pill. Below is a breakdown of the numbers:

10 Apples by Dr Seuss
K-9 sits in the kitchen
8 of Spades
7's by Garth Brooks, and channel 7 on the TV
6:00 on the clock
5 nickels
Connect 4
3 Kings and 3 other movies (Just Like Heaven, Love Actually, Dan in Real Life - all 3 are movies about love lost) and the Third Book of the Dark Tower Series - Waste Lands
2 of us in the picture
ONE on the shirt.

SURVIVE

This video was created with the concept that things you cannot see are sometimes just as scary or even more. A man wakes up in a strange place, he thinks he is alone but soon realizes there is something else out there.

Sears 'Exploring My America' Application

This is the first video I and Elizabeth created together. We made it as an attempt to win a free road trip. We didn't win the trip, but we had a lot of fun making the video.

Some of the things that I love about this road trip video:
Actually look at what we have stacked up when E says, "I'm ready!" There is a croquet set, a rocking horse, birdhouse, water cooler...we emptied out the garage of whatever we could find...plus a suitcase.

The making of the tent. So many people were astonished by the collapsible tent that makes itself when pulled out of it's bag. Um, yeah...that was movie magic. :)

When you see Elizabeth answer the phone...I had to actually call her, because she wasn't sure when to answer the phone.

...we didn't get picked... :(
